Cryolipolysis is an aesthetic treatment indicated to eliminate the accumulation of fat located in several parts of the body, such as the thighs, abdomen, thorax, hips and arms, flanks, chin, knee, armpits or the back of the chest, when physical exercises or diet have not been enough to eliminate it, and can be carried out by women or men who want to reduce the measurements.

This treatment, also known as “incisionless liposuction”, relies on the intolerance of fat cells to low temperatures, which disintegrate when stimulated by the equipment. Cryolipolysis guarantees the removal of approximately 20-25% of localized fat in a single treatment session. However exists also some rare cases of a reverse effect to less than 1% of the population, for which the clients should be conscious.

For optimal results and increased safety, it is imperative that the treatment is administered by a qualified professional, using certified equipment and ensuring regular maintenance. Any failure to meet these criteria can lead to serious complications, mainly 2nd or 3rd degree burns.

The Radiofrequency on the skin causes heating in the subcutaneous tissue. This heat (around 55°C) under the skin acts on several levels:

a. it causes retraction of existing collagen fibers and production of new collagen, elastane, hyaluronic acid

b. it stimulates microcirculation in the treated area, thus promoting the nutrient exchange of skin cells;
